“I really loved talking with Dr.Rocio Taveras , I felt comfortable talking and whatnot. I'm sad she's no longer there .. but the new person they have answering phones, sounds like he hates his job. He needs more practice on answering the phones. That's the only reason for not putting 5 stars.”

“I wish I didn’t have to make so many calls just for them to say they can’t accept me as a patient – only to then later accept me. I understand it’s an official system they have to use to receive documents, and that my primary care doesn’t use that system – I just wish they outright turned me away so I can quickly make another decision. I called three times, no answer. Left a voicemail. No response to the voicemail for days. I showed up in person, they gave me documents to take home & sign while I waited. I called again twice, apparently they only answer some extensions. Eventually after speaking to them on multiple occasions, even getting the documents myself, they explained they can’t receive my document any other way. So I concluded I couldn’t be seen by them. Only about a week later did they call me back and attempt to repair the damage by saying “yes! we can take you regardless of it being sent through fax or not”, and sent me paperwork to fill out twice, once to the wrong email but by that point I was so burnt out by the office that I’d rather not go here. I can only imagine what it’d be like if I did. For a different office I contacted, all it took was one simple call. They were able to check immediately and made an appointment to give me a call back the same day and get me scheduled. I hold no hard feelings towards the staff, I really wanted to come here. I just wish things were better. So if you’re thinking of coming here please listen to the reviews about the office! and know it’ll be super slow & disorganized on the back end.”

“I have been with Dr. Patel and Instic Health, for, I want to say, roughly 8 years. I had the pleasure of having Dr. Patel as my Psychiatrist for 4-5 of those years. I can't say this enough... he is the definition of what a Doctor should be. He has compassion, understanding, and you can tell that he is passionate about his work and his patients. He became a mental health doctor because he truly wants to help people. I always felt truly cared for every single time I walked in his office. He never made me question my sanity, or progress. He spoke to me with equality and no judgement. He always offered a tissue at just the right time. It's like he knew you were going to need one before you even knew... I have stuck with this establishment through changes in insurance, as I couldn't bare to leave him, even when my insurance didn't cover his facility. Currently, I am working with Ms. Rocio Taveras, MSN, PMHNP-BC. She is a breath of fresh air, very sweet, very kind, and I feel like she and I are working together on a plan that will lift so much of my depression. I am thankful for this facility, and ALL of the staff working behind the desks. They are always kind and in 8 years, I have never had one single issue. I highly recommend Dr. Pragnesh Patel and his team at Instic Health for your mental health needs. For true care and compassion... give them a call!”
