My Psychiatrist

“I love the psychiatrist I see, Arcelis (sp) Wynn. She’s great. I pay out of pocket, though. I don’t love that. $150 a pop. Sometimes twice a month if my meds are being adjusted. That’s a significant burden for someone barely hanging on to society but needs stimulant medication to function (the free places don’t provide stimulants 🙄). But, like I said, my psychiatrist is great, thorough, compassionate, supportive, and helpful. I appreciate the care I get through Ventre/My Psychiatrist.”

I am in one of the best places I have ever been in my life and have been motivated to take other steps to better myself, including seeing a therapist that specializes in what I need and will be hopefully getting a Dietican when I am able. Being a black woman we're told to have tough skin and not to tell anyone what's going on on your home but talking with Michelle feels so right and I always can't wait for the next time I meet up with her.
