“It is impossible to get anyone to pick up the phone. They don’t follow up with VA patients. The staff was nice, just not a very organized. I invite anyone to call and select option 1 for prescriptions, none of the doctors pick up on their extension and if you try to talk to the front desk is the same problem. No one picks up”

“I suggest before you read the reviews, sort by lowest first to get a more accurate picture of how your experience will be. I didn’t and it was after that I ended up finding out that I should not have made an appointment at this place. The reviews saying lack of communication are accurate. Two weeks without telling me the appointment I needed has been canceled due to scheduling error. The appointment before that one had to be rescheduled too because of error in their end. Why so much rescheduling from this company? If you are busy and have your own work schedule that you can’t adjust because you need to go to work in order to pay for the treatment that you need, I would go somewhere else more reliable. Do not put your health at the hands of this unreliable business, because when you need them they will just reschedule you and, according to some reviews, without letting you know. Read the low reviews to get a picture of the bad service they offer.”

“I went to Dr. Amanda Darling for support during a very difficult time. During the session, I honestly disclosed that I had been experiencing suicidal ideation, but I was very clear that I had no plan, no intent, and would never act on it because I would never put my family through that pain.Instead of providing support or further assessment, Dr. Darling decided I needed to be Baker Acted because she did not know how to handle extreme trauma cases. Police were called, and I was involuntarily transported and held for 5 hours at JFK North Psychiatric Center. The psychiatrist at the facility later determined that the Baker Act was inappropriate and personally apologized for the trauma this caused me.This experience was deeply re-traumatizing. I was treated like a danger to myself when I was simply being honest in therapy. Dr. Darling’s actions showed a complete lack of clinical judgment and care. Instead of helping someone who was reaching out for support, she escalated the situation in a way that caused unnecessary fear, humiliation, and emotional harm.I would NEVER recommend this provider to anyone. If you are struggling and need genuine support, please find a different therapist. This experience made me lose trust in the mental health system and caused lasting damage.”
