“I had a med student who saw me the entire time I was a patient there. She was so good and super caring and genuinely seemed passionate about helping people. I really liked her. Her attending only ever saw me for 5 mins at the end of the appointments. One was a man and the other was a woman and it was never consistent who saw me at the end, the only one really involved in my care was the med student.They never discussed my care plan with me or listened to me express my concerns. They were very dismissive. After I learned the med student was leaving there I switched practices. When I first started treatment there I was never told the doctor managing my care was a med student, which should not be allowed. It wasn’t hard to figure it out because she would have to go to ask her attending to approve everything at the end of my sessions while I waited everytime. Had I known I would have been seeing a med student who was doing clinicals and I’d have to find a new doctor I wouldn’t have started getting care at this place to begin with. She was still really great though and I wish her success in her career. Dr. Flores on the other hand should probably retire she’s rude and dismissive.”
