“Very disappointing experience. Before my child’s scheduled 6:00 p.m. Zoom therapy appointment, the therapist left me a voicemail saying our outstanding balance needed to be paid and instructed me to call the office. However, the office was already closed, so there was no way to reach anyone or make a payment before the appointment. We were still able to join the Zoom session, so we assumed the appointment was still moving forward. We waited for 45 minutes, but the therapist never joined, and no one contacted us during that time. If the appointment was not going to take place because of the balance, it should have been canceled in advance or there should have been a way to resolve the payment issue before the office closed. Instead, my child and I were left waiting online for 45 minutes with no explanation. Mental health appointments are important, and families deserve clear communication and respect for their time. I hope they improve their billing and scheduling process so this doesn’t happen to others. The lack of communication and follow-through made it feel like our time and my child’s care were not a priority. I also expect that neither I nor my insurance will be billed for a session that never took place.”
