“Was coming into this, not expecting it to work or make a significant impact. I'm on my 2nd to last day of treatment and there have been some very notable changes in me. The first thing was that I got back into drawing, which I was out of for a while. Of course, I didn't know this could have been from the treatment, but for once, I wasnt feeling hopeless about my skills. So I'm still drawing to this day and don't think I'll be quitting this time. Everything else followed after, with feeling overall better everyday. Before treatment, it was half and half, but now it's almost everyday I'm in a good mood. I feel more hopeful than I've ever felt,abd apparently, it'll only get better from here. I'd really like to think the TMS staff for being so patient and kind with me, they really are sone if the nicest people I've ever met. One time when I was at my lowest, they comforted me and after a few minutes of talking with me, I felt just like I would after a tms treatment, amazing, like I never even in a bad mood. “I just wrapped up my second full round of TMS (36 treatments) at First Coast TMS, and wanted to share my experience. I decided to try TMS because nothing else I’d tried was giving me much relief from my migraines or the symptoms I deal with from PTSD and depression. After my first round, my migraines eased up for several months, and after this most recent round I’m seeing similar improvements again. The treatment itself isn’t bad - it feels kind of like a TENS unit tapping or massaging your temple. Weird for the first minute, then you just settle into it. Definitely not as intense as I imagined it would be. The biggest thing for me was the staff. They’re genuinely friendly, easy to talk to, and they actually take the time to check in on you as a person, not just a patient on a schedule. They made the whole process a lot less stressful. For me, TMS didn’t magically fix everything, but it did give me something I haven’t had in a long time - a sense of hope. And that alone made it worth trying.
