“This company recently procured my long-standing psychiatric office. They do not take my insurance and have implemented a new policy that patients on specific adhd medications be seen monthly as opposed to typical 3 month med management appointments. They’ve also increased the self pay rate to $165. For me to continue seeing the provider I’ve seen for years and continue the low dose adhd medication that I’ve been on for an over a decade, I will now pay $1,980 a year out of pocket. After speaking to the billing department about any potential solutions to this massive increase they stated there was nothing they could do. This policy disproportionately impacts patients with a particular mental health condition and is applied without individualized medical justification. The sudden and substantial increase effectively limits access to care and harmony is showing zero regard for continuity of care for long term, stable patients. The provider and staff with building new horizons was phenomenal, but due to these policies, I cannot recommend harmony.”

“Re - Dr Mary Lowry: I had a horrible experience back in 2022 with Dr. Lowry. After spending 2 months in a psychiatric hospital and suffering from bipolar-induced psychosis, she told me I should give up on my hopes of going back to graduate school. She made me feel hopeless, lost, and prolonged my recovery immensely. If you value non-judgmental & compassionate approaches to psychiatric services, Lowry is not the provider for you. And side note - I did go back to school and will be graduating in August.”

“This was my first visit. The office staff was so nice and welcoming. She was so soft spoken and kind. Dr Lowery was professional and knowledgeable about all my concerns about my issues. I didn’t quite get the results I wanted. But that’s not the Dr’s fault, it’s Florida laws that prohibit them from doing what the patient feels is best for them. Overall, I’m continuing my follow up care will a psychologist and I feel it will go well. I do recommend them. Therapy is tool that is highly recommended but very overlooked and not used.”
