“I had my initial appointment with Dr. Hanish Sethi today, and unfortunately, my experience did not meet my expectations. When I booked the appointment, I was impressed by how quickly I was able to be seen. However, the actual visit did not meet my expectations. I sought care for ADHD, a condition for which I have been receiving treatment, and I came prepared to discuss my symptoms, history, and current treatment needs. Instead, I felt that my concerns were not fully addressed during the appointment. Rather than feeling heard or thoroughly evaluated, I felt that the discussion focused heavily on questioning aspects of my history and treatment. The doctor repeatedly requested prior medical records but did not conduct what I felt was a thorough assessment during the visit itself. I do not seek psychiatric treatment for anxiety or depression; my appointment was specifically related to ADHD. By the end of the visit, I left feeling frustrated and discouraged, as I did not feel that my concerns had been adequately addressed. As someone with a career, health insurance, and many responsibilities, I value my time. I took time away from my schedule for this appointment and did not feel that I received a meaningful evaluation or patient-centered care. While I understand that every provider has a different approach, I found the communication style to be less collaborative than I had hoped. Because of this experience, I will not be returning to this practice. I hope management takes patient feedback seriously, as patients seeking care should feel heard, respected, and supported throughout the process.”
