“I wish I had enough of a review to share. Receptionist receiving calls needs extensive training. After a series of referrals, we tried to get an appointment with Dr. Gretchen Garcia for behavioral health and related issues. After calling, I was told my partner (the potential patient) was the one that needed to call. He was absolutely berated on the phone, discouraged to seek treatment and brought back to ground zero. I wish people working and/or related to this field understood the depth and importance of their responses to these patients. Upon disclosing he was attempting to get off of prescription drugs, receptionist read a standard briefing about "how conservative the clinic was with prescriptions", discouraged him from seeking treatment and encouraged the search for another provider. Not only is this a disservice but it dissuades the purpose of having a psychiatrist available with whom patients can discuss walking away from prescriptions or adopting healthier habits. I called back and was told she wasn't able to tell me what was discussed but insisted and asked if drug management was not one of the specialties treated. Was promised a call back. Never letting my partner step foot inside of this place. Receptionists should not answer calls assuming people want further prescriptions but understanding masses want a way out of them. No touch with reality and no empathy. Highly discourage setting up an appointment! Look for alternative healthcare instead. In disbelief.. Only reason for an extra star is because an actual person picked up the phone instead of an AI assistant.”

“Honestly I was so scared seeking professional help and treatment as it was my first time but I made the right choice when it comes to mindful behavior health. The staff there are so sweet and supportive, I got the immediate help and relief that I so desperately needed. I want to especially thank Dr.Garcia, she genuinely cares for the well being of her patients, thanks to her I might one day be able to become a doctor just like her.”
