What patients say on Google

They will switch providers on you consistently. They will not allow you to reschedule your appointment if you have a balance due unless you pay via phone prior. No empathy for mental health patients from this facility at all. You aren’t a person to them just a number. Stay away. Find any other provider. These people couldn’t care less. They get through by doing the bare minimum. Staff is extremely rude. I mentioned their low google reviews and they hung up on my face.

Hello, I would like to say, that I have been going to Mindful Therapy for 12 years now! I have recommended my family as well, and they love it. However, I would like to say, that I called today very stressed out because I lost my medical insurance and needed a appointment right away, I was in tears and “JANICE” was so kind and compassionate and caring, she just listened to me patiently and I was about to commit myself, but she was able to get me a appointment the following business day! I am so grateful and thankful for her support. She went above and beyond, she gave me different alternatives and was so professional, I was so Impressed by this. Everyone at Mindful is great, but I want to personally thank “JANICE” and she should be a supervisor. I hope I can see her at my next appointment to speak to her and thank her in my time of crisis and need. Thank you! This is what you call, a professional. She’s a 10+! 🙏♥️

Every time my mother and I come here, Ashley takes wonderful care of my mom. Ashley is quite literally one of the kindest, most intelligent, responsible, and funniest healthcare professionals I have ever encountered. She always treats my mom with so much patience, genuine compassion, and respect. We are so grateful for everything she does and always look forward to seeing her. She deserves every bit of recognition for the amazing work she does (and maybe even a raise!).

I’ve been going to this clinic for over 2 years, and the front desk experience has consistently been frustrating and disappointing. Their policy is apparently a strict 5-minute grace period. Today my appointment was at 8:00 AM and I arrived at 8:12 AM. They refused to see me, even though no other patient had been taken in yet. They told me there were already two confirmed patients after me, but admitted they had not even started seeing them. What makes this especially frustrating is the double standard. Almost every time I arrive ON TIME, I still end up waiting between 1 to 1.5 hours to see my provider. Sometimes I’m one of the first patients scheduled for the day, and I still wait an unreasonable amount of time. When I brought this up before, the staff simply told me that “the provider takes as much time as needed with each patient.” So apparently patients are expected to respect every minute of the clinic’s time, but the clinic does not respect the patient’s time in return. Today I explained that I urgently needed to see my provider because my appointment was simply for medication approval/refills so I can continue my depression treatment. They still refused. I even offered to pay out of pocket for a virtual appointment after they told me insurance would not cover telehealth, and they still said no. I even asked the front desk if I could briefly speak to Sofia for just a moment, and they refused that as well. There was absolutely no empathy, no attempt to help, no flexibility, and no transparency. At this point, I honestly cannot tell whether my provider herself is refusing to help me, or if the clinic administration and front desk staff are enforcing these extreme policies without even allowing communication with the doctor. This level of inflexibility and lack of compassion is unacceptable for a mental health practice. Patients dealing with depression and mental health challenges should not be treated like inconveniences over a 12-minute delay while routinely being expected to wait over an hour themselves. The provider herself may be good, but the administration and scheduling policies make the overall experience extremely stressful.
