“The VA booked my appointment it was supposed to be family session, was told they had to cancel my appointment because the patient order was just for the veteran. I said I would pay out of pocket since I’ve been waiting for this appointment for months. I found out before the appointment that my son was not coming since I already had made the payment I asked if they could just use the VA approval since my son was not going to be there. The office manager replied is it for family therapy? I said yes but my son isn’t here, you can use the VA approval and declined, was not happy and decided to leave before the appointment and clearly it stated it’s only $50 dollars to cancel the appointment but they kept the whole fee. Chose a provider that cares about you before your wallet.”
